Vail Resorts is one of the only large scale vacation destinations powered COMPLETELY by wind power. Great steps have been taken, with the leadership of Luke Cartin, to make Vail Resorts an earth-friendly company. Our objective was to inform Vail Resorts’ visitors of its dedication and accomplishments in protecting the environment.

These milestones in Wind Power, Energy/Water Conservation, Recycling, and Wildlife were displayed on huge 2’x5’ digitally printed panels. The individual panels are interchangeable to allow for updates to be as material conscious as possible. The wood used to anchor the sign was made from local Pine Beetle Kill Trees, an ongoing occurrence in the Vail Valley. 3D Metal Letters were bolted to the wood to accentuate the environmental theme. The scale of the project, 12’x10’, enforces the importance of the resorts’ environmental accomplishments.
